The Scorpio new moon is on October 26, 2011at 3:56pm Eastern time. The new moon in Scorpio is the time of the year to look at our shadow; the side of ourselves that we usually do not want to look at or go there. Issues of jealousy, rage, anger, resentment and where we feel that we are owed something come up. You may experience these feelings within yourself or from an outside catalyst.
Living your life trusting your intuition, connection, intimacy, and passion is the promise Scorpio offers. Intuition and a deep sense of desire to live your life with purpose and meaning can come in an instant when engaged in seemingly meaningless activities or observing events that appear superficial or shallow.
Yet in spite of all the shadow side of Scorpio concerns, this is one of the best new moons of 2011. Jupiter and Pluto are trine with the Sun and Moon sextile Jupiter, trine Chiron, and opposite Jupiter. Mars, the ancient ruler of Scorpio is in mutual reception with the Sun.
What this means for you is there is access to the power of transformation and the ability to face dark issues that need to be resolved are easier. Secret or hidden thoughts and feelings can be exposed, brought to light, to be discussed and deeper intimacy and connection will follow. The square between Venus and Mars with Mercury caught in the middle can indicate that the concerns that come up to be healed can be close to your heart. The issues can involve those you love, financial concerns, and differences between what you want to do and what you can do.
It is time to bring out of the closet anything that has been too scary or intense to face. What is it in your life that you want to transform? What are your secrets that you feel you can’t share? Is there a fear that in sharing what you are angry or upset about you would be criticized, exposed, or abandoned?
What do you feel that you need to keep hidden and secret from others? Where do you feel exposed and vulnerable? How can you step into your personal power and not fear that you lose something precious to you?
During the month of Scorpio take a few minutes to contemplate what you want to let go of in order to create the space in your life for something more; even if you don’t know what it looks like at the moment.
We have entered into powerful times on our planet. The next several years continue with great change globally and will impact individuals personally. The message from the Scorpio realm is to step into your personal power and intuitive self. The times are too fragile to turn away from the gifts that you incarnated with.
